My wife is learning to ride.&nbsp\\; Yesterday we took the interstate 134 miles an then about 107 on state hwys.
She did great and we had a great time.&nbsp\\; Tell your wives they can do it if they want to ride.

 

I do it frequently on mine, and it's great to hear of a new rider doing it! And actually ENJOYING it! Thanks for posting! I love hearing about new riders taking long rides. Now, does she have the stock seat? I hope not!&nbsp\\;I have a Reach on mine. Works pretty well for long hauls but not as well as some of the other offerings out there. Tell her to keep it up, ride long, ride often, and above all, ride safe!

My wife rides and loves it! Hate to admit it but right now she's getting more riding in than I am.

 

She has the sundowner.&nbsp\\; She has joined the Motor Maids".&nbsp\\; Her goal is to ride to Cody Wy. in two years for their convention.&nbsp\\; That is why she is practicing on the Interstate.&nbsp\\; It would take forever going to Cody cross country.

Congrats, I'm glad to hear of a man who encourages his woman to ride. My boy hounded me about it for 3 years and now I can't seem to stay away from the bike more than a day.

I just got my first bike in April and this week we took off for a 1200 mile trip.&nbsp\\; It was a blast!&nbsp\\; Temps in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas were in the low 100's (109 at one bank clock), a couple stops we opened up the ice freezers at gas stations and took a seat.&nbsp\\;
Stock seat on my 08 883xl so 60 miles was the max before my butt felt broken and needed to stop.&nbsp\\;
I'd love to put a Cross Bones seat on it but don't think it would work.&nbsp\\;

 

I got mine last April and have put over 14,000 miles on it since I took the BRC in June of 07. CONGRATS!!! to your wife.&nbsp\\; A couple of weeks ago we rode to Yakima for burgers. 350+ miles when it was all said and done.&nbsp\\; Its GREAT.
