Default Baffles SE II Slip-on

I've tried to remove the baffles&nbsp\\;from my SE II slip-ons on my '05 1200 Custom to mess with them a little.&nbsp\\; Took out the bolts on the bottom&nbsp\\;&amp\\; side thinking they would just slide out.&nbsp\\; No way.&nbsp\\; Any other bolts, or secrets?&nbsp\\; Help please.

Thanks for the response schumacher.&nbsp\\; I thought of the pliers/tug routine, but there's not anything to grab &amp\\; ******.&nbsp\\; No flanges, tabs, ears, etc.&nbsp\\; Just metal against metal.&nbsp\\; Short of taking the pipes off &amp\\; tapping them with something from the entry side, I can't figure out what to do.

I grabbed mine with pliers in the middle of the baffle, then reached in and took out the packing and metal baffle thingy...wear gloves or you will loose your knuckle meat on the short pipe!

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;
Try the attached methods.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; In my case there was a little lip iside the baffles that I could get on.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; I think I have a picture of the baffle in one of these posts.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;
This method worked in about two light taps of the hammer for me.

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Edit:
Ok, that didn't work.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Do a search on my username, and you will get a list of posts.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; A couple of them address my method of extracting the baffles.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; A lot easier than pulling the pipes, and anything else I tried.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
If I could figure out how to give you a direct link, I would.

Edit 2:
Try this??

&nbsp\\;
That workedat least gets you to the thread.&nbsp\\; My post is 5 or 6 down.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Might be some other ideas there, too.
