Definitely Go for the Super Glide Custom. I'm a little biased, but It's my favorite and to me the best value for the money.

there is a HUGE difference...the biggest to me is the price...if I could afford a super glide, that's what I would be on for sure...but alas I can't...so I ride the crap out of my sporty and LOVE it!

I could get whatever I wanted and it was a Road King

btw.. you didn't say what you were gonna get, just that for 1 or 2 grand more you could get a super glide. what were you originally thinking of getting?

hey man i have an 08 nightster and im bigger than you im 6'3 260 with a mustang solo tripper and forward controls im extremely comfortable on the bike. ive ridden my dads RK and i feel more uncomforatable on that because of the floorboards and the handling. go to a dealer and test ride a superglide and a 1200 custom. that way you can get a real feel the price difference is not that great. its all personal preference. always test ride every option before you make a move. the demo days are a great time for this.

Of the two... I'd get the superglide and there is no comparison...

When I was looking for a second bike ,I could have gotten anything I wanted,I chose the Nightster and am very happy with it.It kicks the butt of the bigger bikes and is fun to ride,it can be made very comfortable to anyones liking.

Here is some advice for you: Forget what everyone tells you to get. They won't be rideing it, you will, Get what you want. A super glide is a BIG sportster, since the sportsters are now rubber mounted, they are like a smaller version of a super glide.
