I saw someone the other day with something that would really come in handy.. Its some type of replacement for the taillight or something that you add to the existing light fixture that when you press on the break it causes the break to flash.. I dont know about other people but it caught my attention from another lane of traffic.. Anyone know what that is called and where to get it..

It's a bulb you can buy on ebay, I have one and it does get their attention when you put the brakes on. You have to know what the bottom of your bulb looks like. You can also buy them at JP's. Hope that helped you out. Ride safe.

Is it just your tail light that comes on as a break or do you have the turn signals tied in too? On mine all three come on with the application of the brake. The outside lights are on with the turn signals or the brake.

That person either had an LED tail light wired to flash, or "modulate" Or they had the drop-in bulb you can get form J&P or ebay like 1200efi said. Look it up under lighting and accessories on J&P's website.

I have a brake light modulator also, the way that works is, when you put the brake on the rear sig lights come on with the brake lights, so I put red lens's on the sigs. Now you have three red lights at one time. Your bulb will be a double filament, one for running light and one for brake light. The bulb you buy does the work of flashing on and off. You can have one of two bulbs, 1157 or 3157. The 1157 has a round bottom and and you have to twist it after you push it in, the 3157 has a flat spade looking bottom and you just push that one in. They will not interchange. Hope thats better. Ride safe.

I got stuck behind a guy on a run last Saturday who had a tail light that constantly chased itself around in circles. Man that thing was so annoying! It did catch your attention, but it also kept your attention so I was kind of fixated on this light. It would have been fine if it only did that as brakes were applied, but it did it the entire time riding. It just didn't seem too safe to me.
