I like old school pinstriping. It def fits with a retro bobber so go for it.

Thumbs up cant go wrong

i had a guy stripe my black/silver nightster and i love em. I had an idea for black and orange but i wanted a third color i couldnt decide on, so i left it up to him. He threw in a few flat silver lines. I didnt think they'd look good until I saw them in the sunlight. On the silver fenders you can only see the lines if the light hits them just right. then they just pop out!

Id say stripe it for sure. The all black nightsters look good but they'd benefit from something to break up all the solid color. just my .02

Wow I love the look of that pinstriping on Durrett Syndrome's bike. Damn cool idea.

I had some pinstriping painted on my tank and both fenders which you can kinda see in this pic.

Here's a closer view of the tank

And the front fender

Thanks piginablanket...it looks 100x clean and even better in person...just wanted to throw a few ideas out there...but the i let the guy who did it just do what he wanted and it turned out killer...after about 3 months i brought him the rims and had him do a single pinstripe around the rim and it def tied everything together and set the bike off.

i would go with a light gray-dark red combo.the gray will look white against the black tank & not look soo over powering on your bike--just a thought

Old school striping is cool, I've been thinking about it on my RC.
I used to have a nieghbor that lived across the street from me back in the late 70's that had pinstriping on his bike and every bit of the striping had naked ladies in it but you couldn't see them until he told they where there.
It was very cool!!
