bit of a trek for me livin in FL and all. i think my old man will be there, look for a big ugly goldwing witha giant american flag on it

I'll be there Sunday to check out the vendors and see a few bikes. Not much to brag about though, since it's only about 70 miles away from home.
I normally avoid DC due to the huge number of lost and distracted tourists. Traffic lights are often on the sides of buildings, so tourist don't see them. Navigtion with one way streets encourages sudden unplanned turns, and they don't always check for traffic first. Staring at monuments instead of the road in front of them. You get the picture.
If it wasn't for the Rolling Thunder, I'd leave the bike parked in the suburbs and ride the Metro (subway) into DC.
