Thanks man. You've been a huge help.

Quick update. I went with the 10" wires from uskoolines. They are tight with no play in them 10.25" - 10.5" would be perfect.

Finally got around to doing the tank lift and coil ignition relocation. I tell you what...it was A LOT easier than I thought! With the great instructions from this thread, it went without a hitch! Here are my pics:

Here's the coil/ignition relocation:

I bought the brackets from Home Depot (Doors/Cabinet isle, if I remember right). I bought the 3" L-bracket to attach my coil to the bottom of my tank and it came with pre-drilled holes that lined up perfecty for the two screws under the tank. Then bought a 1.5" L-bracket and attached that to the 3" L-bracket for my ignition. If you want the item number, I can look it up when I get home. I still have the baggies it came in. I also still have a set of the 2 brackets that are powder coated. I'm giving it away for free if anyone wants it. Send me a PM message.

Bought my spark plug wires from DK Customs. You can adjust the length yourself and it only cost $22.95 for the pair. Real easy to install. Took me 5 minutes for each wire to cut, attach the connector, and put install on my bike. Here's the one I ordered:

Maybe I'm a moron.. but I bought 1.5in pipe brackets as you suggested. And it seems the top bolt doesn't clear the frame? Am I doing something wrong? Please advise! haha
