Default 1200 sportster conversion to a softail

anyone know if you can convert a 1200 sportster to the softail style frame?

You can, ive seen a few out there, not really sure how to though, good luck, will require quite a bit of fab work so...

Can be done, full frames and weld ons available for most models, cant recommend any specific suppliers

Redneck Engineering has softail type frames for Sportsters for sale. There are probably other manufactures out there as well. Good luck with your project.

Atlas and Redneck make good frames. Do a google search, I'm sure there are alot more. Btw, you can get the frame either with rubber mounted or solid mounted.
