Default Vance & Hines install. Questions...

I have an XL1200C an 09.
I am looking at the Vance & Hines Short Shots staggered chrome pipes:
Brand New In Box
Vance & Hines Shortshots Staggered
Part # 1800-0467
Fits 07-09 Sportster
Questions:
These are their full exhaust not the slip on's right? So, there will be a need to completely remove the stock exhaust, yes?
If that is the case there are sensors, O2, in the stock exhaust aren't there?
Will the disconnect and placement of these sensors into the new system be tough to do for an average "Bolt On" kind of mechanic?
Are there gasket changes and or bracket changes that will need to be done?
(the auction says it comes with mounting hardware?)
Any special tools?
If I do not change the stock air cleaner at this time I shouldn't have the need to have the bike "Remapped", yes, no?
$306 for the pipes, and $20 UPS ground (seems like a good deal?).
I am thinking try this myself and then have the SE air filter and remap at the HD dealer in a bit?

You can do it, no special tools needed, the 02 sensors thread in and out, and if all else fails, they come with directions. Pull the trigger, not a big job. You dont have to remap or anything now, but its not something i would run forever on.

Waiting to hear back from the vendor re:shipping etc. This may be the first large modification (time wise, etc.)

Exhaust is pretty straight forward I would say. And if you run into any snags, everybody and their brother have V&H Short Shots on this site. You'll have plently of help...

Like stng said, the O2 sensors thread in. You'll need new exhaust gaskets but otherwise it should be easy. The mounting brackets for the stock exhaust line up perfect and you will need to pull the entire stock system off.

I have Vance and Hines on all three of my big twins. The instructions are excellent and the pipes come with everything you need to do the job. I would reccommend a little anti-seize on the thread of the O2 sensors. You can re-use the exhaust gaskets with no problems. I've done it several times, just be careful not to damage them. No need to re-map unless you change the air breather. But the sooner the better cuz the pipe/breather/re-map combination will give you a decent boost in performance that you can feel.
