I'm at about 500 miles on my 883L and it has smoothed considerably. During the first 100 miles it would take about two minutes for my right arm to go numb. Now it doesn't happen at all. I took about a 100 mile ride on Sunday and the only sore part of me was my ***, but that's a different discussion.....

That, plus a good set of 'full sized' grips, and gel-palmed gloves (full finger or fingerless) will do wonders to help tame vibration.

Even so, the vibration on the rubber mounted Sportster is much less than on my rubber mounted FXDWG, and let's not even consider the older Shovel's and Pan's.

From what I understand, the older solid mounted Sportsters were no slouch in the vibration department either. Hahaha

seriuosly, i have found that grip is what causes me to have problems. when my fingers on my right hand begin to tingle, i have noticed i am gripping the throttle pretty tight. i relax my grip and have no problems, i also still have factory grips!

That's where your problem is, the factory grips are so boring they put your hand to sleep.
