Does anyone know of a tire vendor that sells a 100/90-19 wide white wall. A few websites I have visited have them but are always out of stock or discontinued. Thanks!

 

good luck with that endeavor.

if you have hd dunlops, take a close look at the sidewall. you'll notice a 1.5/2 inch ribbed section that makes a perfect circle around the tire.

well if you clean that section with denatured alcohol, and tape it off (so only the ribbed section is showing), you can use exterior latex house paint (satin finish) to add white-walls. you'll need to do about 4-6 coats to get it fully covered.

check out my gallery to see pics of the results. the front tire went 30,000 miles without the paint coming off. i used the best latex paint lowes carries. a gallon should cover about 40 billion tires.

 

Try Coker Tires. If they have them for my '42 I'm sure they would be able to help you out.

 

Maxxis Tire. Got them on my 2003 Bobber.
These are wide whites, not the little narrow band.

 

Hey thanks for the suggestions everyone. I found a local shop here in town that carried the Avon Venoms. For anyone else thats interested they don't list the front tire 100/90-19 in the Avon dealer catalog but they still make them. Yeah I thought it was stupid too. Anyway thanks again.
