Default Kuryakyn Lizard Lights-Nightster

Yo, I've got a 2009 Nighster in Vivid Black. The shop I work at is a Kuryakyn dealer and I'm thinking about ordering up a set for the Lizard lights. They come with 7 different colors and you can choose 1 or all of the colors at a time at variable speeds.

Problem is i dont have chrome...as most of you know the nighster has polished rocker boxes..thats about it. I'm thinking the lights would still look pretty cool even though there is not alot to reflect off of.

Thoughts?

I think it would look OK.. not a big fan of the multicolored ones though.. I would pick a color and stick with it.. unless you can stop it on a specific color..

I'd say go for it, Nightster are hard enough to see at night anyway. i would check your local DOT to see what colors are legal on the road if you plan on driving with them on.

you can pick one color. i was thinking about sticking with red. i had a handpainted pin-stripe in red done by TexEfx at SPIbikefest over the silver stock one. it looks pretty sweet. mathches my helmet and jacket.

but i like the idea that if i dont feel like red i can switch to whatever i want. and if i dont want lights i dont have to turn em on at all.

to be honest I was thinking the same thing with my 09 Iron. I was curious as how Red would look on it...but I've only seen these on chromed out bikes (which looks sick BTW).

Most, if not all, states do not allow the use of red or blue lights on a bike/automobile while in motion on public roads. Those colors are for emergency vehicles only. In a parking lot, yes, those colors are fine.

I parked my bike (no lights) between two others with their lights on once and it was like a black hole. It was out in the country away from city lights and I wouldn't be surprised if someone had tripped over my bike trying to walk between the two others.

I'd like to see pictures of a Nightster with boogie/lizard lights because it doesn't seem like there is enough chrome to reflect lights.
