Well, I paid off my bike and am in the process of picking out the parts I need for the conversion.
I'm going with the SE kit and getting it done at the dealer, mainly for warranty reasons.
Question I have, the se conversion kit comes with the 1200 heads, since I read these are higher performance than the 883 heads, would it be wise
to add the se .536 cams with the se performance valve springs? Looking to see if thats a good combo or any other opinions.

 

The SE kit is a good buy when you consider everything you get with the kit. Have you checked out the Harley XL Forum? They have a section on conversions, you might want to check it out, lots of good information.
