Default Nightster Bars

I posted this over on the WTB section, but have not got much action, thought I would mention here...

-----------------------------------------------------

I have an 09 Iron and think I might want to give the wider Nightster bars a try.

If anyone has some takeoffs, let me know.

Will pay shipping and few bucks for your beer fund.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks. They don't have to be perfect, just reasonably decent. Let me know how you do, and their status. PM me if better.

Huh, that's exactly what I'm thinking of doing too.. I test rode an Iron today, and really didn't like the riding position...mainly due to the reack to the bars.. Then sat on a Nightster and straight away loved the wider and slightly more pulled nack style of those bars.. Too bad I'm all the way down under in Australia...and probably won't be able to find many nighster owners with surplus bars habging around...
The store told me there's a bit of messing around to refit all the wiring etc. ??

I just bought a 2010 nightster and will be taking the bars off in the next week or two (just waiting on the new bars which are being powder coated), but I live in Canada so shipping will likely be a little more than getting the bars from someone in the US.

I have an Iron and switched to the Nightster bars. SO much better!!! Well worth it. I bought mine new and they were only around $50 so not breaking the bank at all.

Thanks Krista. Keep me posted. Canada to US postage is a bunch more but still may be worth it to help you/I out instead of the dealer. Rather help a biker with a few $$$ than the post office.

Good luck with your new bars.
