Default who has had mean city cycles redo their sportster seats?

i'm thinking of the reshape and possibly the memory foam on my stock seat. i'm 5'6" and the front of the seat seems to cut in to the bottom of my legs. is it worth getting the mods? and how much is the reshape and the foam?

I am 5'8 and 240 and mine was doing the same thing since mean city cycles is only 20 min from me dropped my seat off and had memory foam put in the drivers section only and run me 140.00 been a couple of months ago I have put about 500 miles on it and they said will take 800-1000 to break in but so far I have no complaints I can ride a tank of fuel out before stopping and I have back trouble and RA definatly worth it to me.

How is that memory foam? I was going to reupholster a seat pan and thought about it, but when I looked at it and sat on it, I wasn't convinced it was a good idea.

I mean, it was somewhat comfortable and all, but it just seemed like once it was compressed, there would be all the leather covering that would go all loose.

The memory foam they use is really stiff compared to regular memory foam used in beds and etc. so havnt had trouble with the seat bunching up.

I sent my stock seat to them last fall. They did the combo job gel/foam, think it ran around $180 for the main seat and passenger seat. So far I like it. Probably only have 500 miles on and they said it would take some time to break in.

The mustang solo daytripper gets mixed
reviews from some people . But I have heard
nothing but good about the mustang vintage solo seats.

I went with the gel / memory foam combo for a stock Nifgtster solo seat that I picked up here in the classifieds. The combo was on sale a while back, maybe still is. Just got my seat back from Mean City Sat afternoon while I was out on a 4 hour ride. They did the work right on schedule and it was delivered in two days. Tried it out a little after I got back (a few times around the block) and then for about an hour on Sunday. Feels good so far. I didn't want the look of some custom seats that look like pillows and wanted to keep the low profile look. Forgettin about delivery costs I've got a custom seat for about $200.
