if your going as far as chopping the struts and fender why not get rid if those lights do a side mount or something seems to me they just stand out after removing some much other stuff ,just dont look right imo

Fair enough question, I appreciate the input. I am trying to do what I can to not exactly mimic every other bike that's doing those same mods. Some stuff like a tank lift or mirror flip can't be avoided, but when I can make changes that someone else, or anyone I know of, hasn't done, I'm going to take that route. Especially if I can make the pieces for the mods myself.

On the practical side, I like having a turn signal that is more useful to the person behind me so they know where I'm going. Side mount does look cool, but cool doesn't mean **** if a guy behind me doesn't know where I'm going and lays me on the side of the road.
