I finally completed all the paperwork and got the down payment made for my 2010 Harley Davidson Iron 883. It will be waiting at the dealership for me to pick up when I return from Afghanistan. I cant wait im so excited. Its my gift to myself for coming to combat. Im already looking at accessories, i can tell this is going to be an expensive addiction

 

First off, a big Thanks for risking your A$$ out there in haji land. Second, what a great gift....I did the same, got me a '10 883 Iron after obsessing over it for over a year.

I actually leave my base in two weeks, gotta go back to hawaii for two weeks then ill be home in CO to pick up the bike june 26th...And im proud to serve, your welcome.

Hell, Yes, Man. Thank you, sir for your service. You'll have a good time on that Harley. I wanted an IRON really bad. Had my name hanging on one on the show room floor. Things happened, and I was offered a deal on a Street Bob. So I took it. I am still going to build my IRON when this deal is done.

 

Thanks for your service, stay safe while you are there...even short timers have to be cautious. My brother in law was shot down 1 week before he was due to come home (he's fine).
