Once the build is broke in, you should see a increase in mileage (MPG). But its hard to increase the mileage running 7000+ rpms at every shift. lol

While this is true to an extent...I was at 38mpg at the start of the break in and now with 2600 miles on it I'm around 44/45mpg. When it was only the 883 I was getting 55-60mpg doing the exact same routes. But again...the in town experience with the added power IS fun!

I've had the exact same set up on my '09 Iron, and it runs like a raped ape!!!! more than happy, although I do get a bit more backfiring, especially on start up!

Hi,everyone.I am a new member and this is my first post.Last week I bought a 2010 iron 883.I want to know something, please share your experience with me.I want to put an exhaust.Which one do you suggest. And do I have to install any other thing except the exhaust like breather,or a kit.Is it a must of installing an exhaust.Because I just only want to install an exhaust. Here in my country the dealer told that I should install other components when I want to install an exhaust otherwise the engine spends more fuel and gets hotter more quickly. Is it a trick to sell more items.Or is it true. Thanks and kindest Regards...
