just did it myself today and i have to say it was easier then a pig being happy in ****. i checked the clutch adjustment - it was fine, i checked the primary chain adjustment - it was fine acording to the manual with a 1/4 to 3/8 of play, changed the tranny and oil fluid which i didnt know was the same fluid good thing the parts guy helped me out, washed it took it for a ride rechecked the oil and i was done. spent 70 bucks in parts and saved over 200 bucks im labor. i bout a extra quart of oil by accident but its good to keep it around. im just happy i saved money and didnt get rapped. good thing the dealer was busy today because i was about to leave it.

Still blows my mind that a Cage Dealership can change your oil, top off fluids and inspect the vehicle for under $30 in about 30 min. But motorcycle shops want several hundred to do similar plus maybe just a bit more stuff and take all day doing it..
Totally a supply/demand issue I guess.
Glad I decided to learn to do these basic maintenance items at least.

I did mine myself as well and it was probably close to 6 hours total, so I can see how the stealerships charge for 3 hours.
