Any 2007 and up tank will direct bolt on. You may have to replace the seat from a peanut tank when going with the larger tank.

You swap two things... tank and fuel vapor line. I had a complete new 3.3 tank with a new fuel pump and the vapor line that I would swap back and forth with the peanut tank. If you want to save some $$ you can use the fuel pump from your peanut tank... but then swapping back and forth is a pita...

Sold the bike but I still have 3.3 tank with me... I miss my Sportster.... I have been looking that that Roadster with the Limited Edition paint job...

Is there anyone with a Cole Foster style tank on their 48? I'm thinking about changing my tank to this one here from Lowbrow. The feedback on this particular tank is not that great, so I will have to modify it to make it safe(r).
