I wouldn't think so. But usually when you buy a tank it doesn't come with the pump. You'll probably have to keep your old one and put it in the new tank. But I can't tell you if the street bob tank will fit. Seems to me that is a pretty big tank. Might effect your seat. How many gallons is the tank? I put a 3.3 tank on mine and I can easily go 120 miles. Light comes on around 80 around town.

if I'm not mistaken, the nightster tank is 3.3gal. the street bob tank is 4.7gal. sportster customs have a 4.5gal tank
might be best to look for one of those. is .2gal worth the challenge?

Well, you said you like a challenge. Has been done plenty of times in the past and used to be a common mod up through the Evo years, but it will likely not be plug and play. You will need a pump for starters. May also need to reshape or significantly shim the frame channel. As mentioned it may easily conflict with your seat mount and thriple tree clearance turning the bars. Honestly, I like fatbob gas tanks, but proportionally they look a little off on a Sportster to me personally. You can always have something fabbed up to fit too.

The pump etc inside a big twin tank aren't the same as they are for a Sporty. They may well work fine, but certainly the safest bet is so go with a 4.5 gallon Sporty tank, unless you want to do a bit of experimenting!
