Default Coil relocation + Wire tuck...brackets...

Is anyone on here selling brackets to do tank lift\wire tuck and coil relocation?

I know you can make them yourself but I do not have a garage, keep my bike in the shed and will be doing mods in the driveway.

I'm somewhat of a shade tree mechanic and not afraid to conquer the mods, I would make my own brackkets if I had a garage with a vice and all. But as I said limited on room and tools.

Please email (dhike@***.net) or answer here if you can help me out.

Thanks
Don

Lick's Sells a 2" tank lift. I actually just put this kit on my '48 yesterday. For what you pay $50 its really not much; more for convenience. Basically to brackets that mount at the neck of the frame. Once i put the lift on which took 15 minutes i revealed all the plastic shrouding and coil casing are really exposed and look plain dumb. So, i'm in the same boat. How to get rid of the shrouding and relocate the coil. I might go to home depot get wire covers made of plastic that are long tubes with a slit down them tuck all the cables and zip tie them to the frame.

Default Bump...maybee some one can help me out here...

Have already read the threads on doing the work, and am ready to do it myself, but no p;ace or proper tools for making the brakets

Wating to buy brackets...won' pay $50 for the licks...I'll find a way to make my own before that.

Mostly interested in coil relocation bracket, anyone making and selling these?

Tank lift brackets for a reasonable price also?

Thanks
Don

Hey Don... for the tank lift you can use a couple of the flat metal bar that comes on the 1.5 inch pipe brackets like this:

hey
