Default Having a problem starting my XL883R '03 everyday

I'm having a problem with starting up my bike everyday in the morning.

I ride my bike to work everyday, in the morning i will need to spend alot of time trying to start my bike. I will try to crank my bike over and over again and there will be alot of back fire, but at the end it will still start. My bike runs well after it get started.

I have change my ignition coil and spark plug already and it's still the same.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

sounds like it needs a tune up...
back firing could be a sign of that- improper timing maybe carb cleaning

has the bike sat over a winter, or do you ride all year long?

That wasn't the question. Choke cables break internally, are you sure the choke/choke cable are WORKING?

Sounds like the choke isn't working right. I suppose it could be something else though.

Pull the choke all the way out and try twisting the throttle 2-3 times before starting it. The accelerator pump will shoot a little fuel into the engine and that greatly helps with starting. If it doesn't start after 1-2 tries something isn't right and it needs looked at.
