Well, it looks like I'll be spending some time over here gathering info on the sportsters. Saturday we picked the wife up a 97 883 and I'm sure I'll be needing info on the thing from time to time. It needs a good cleaning and some rattle can on a few bolts here and there. The rear fender has a couple of cracks from the struts going up from someone trying to pick it up from the fender. I told her we'll fix it up once she gets done dropping it. lol She's already done the MSF course and just needs a little saddle time to get more comfy on it.
I test rode it and I felt very cramped. It's got narrow bars and mid controls that were completly opposite from what I'm used to. lol That thing did suprise me w/ it's power.

HAHAHA so you know EXACTLY how I felt. Congrats to your wife on hers too. I can't wait to get her on it.
