New Castle HD also sells the newer version with the fill in lenses for $319.96

I have the older version on my bike and if adjusted correctly, it works very good. But like others have said, there is a darker spot closer to you than most would like.
I added LED driving lights to mine (not HD's) and the combination of both is equal to HID's. HD's driving lights are too big, too expensive and are not as bright as I would like.
There are many aftermarket driving lights that are much smaller, brighter and cost a fraction of the HD parts.
I didn't want the light bar look for my driving lights. I wanted a fork clamp mounted version that was sleek and small, and I think it looks good on my Sporty. That way I can get the lights lower to the road where I need the light most without having to angle them down to see in front of me and lose the distance output.

Try 76 Fabrications (they may go by Seven Six Fabrications)the guys there back their products and listen to customers when it comes to problems and improving their designs. The price is right, the design is solid and you're supporting an American made product. They do a lot of XS 650 stuff but don't let that scare you off.

No problem.
The kit I have is Trail Tech Equinox #A112-SS.
They measure 1-3/4" diameter and are 3" long with a stem mount.
They come in different mounting styles depending on how you want to mount them.
They are also available in black or chrome.
They are a 10 watt, 15 degree focused beam LED that produces an enormous amount of light, and they are so small, you can mount them just about anywhere.
The blue button on the back is for dimming at 3 levels, low-medium and full bright.
I wanted a fork mounted light instead of a light bar, so I used a chrome split 39mm mount, modified it slightly so that I could run the wires through the stem and through the clamp.
I picked those up on Ebay from a member in Hong Kong for $9.00 with free shipping...couldn't go wrong there, as the same clamps were being sold here in the U.S. for upwards of $40.
I have a HD gear indicator on my Sporty, which came with the rocker switch housing that had an empty space in it. For the switch, I used the HD aux. switch that fits the housing, and it looks pretty much factory from the switch end.
All I can say is that they are bright, have a nice light spread, and are adjustable in any direction to light up the road just where you need it.
I find that with these lights, I don't have that loss of light in a tight curve at night as others have pointed out.
I looked around for quite awhile before I purchased them and got a good deal on them...$200 for the pair IIRC. They were originally for another bike, but that project never was completed. But I like how they look and perform on the Sporty.
The HD LED aux lights are $360 for the pair, are big and throw light all over the place.
I live in Milwaukee, and stopped into the House of Harley a few days before the 110th party this past summer to pick up some oil and a ton of guys asked me about them...all liked them except for one 'hard core' guy that was just being a dick to everyone anyway...
Here are a few pics.

Personally, I don't care if it has 10 lights, HD products SUCK! Well, mostly all products not but all but you get the point. Don't understand why bikers choose to go with OEM products and get robbed in the process... I mean, OEM is important for critical stuff, engine, etc and at times not even.. Many good aftermarket out there who make better products, cheaper too~! Even Harley supports aftermarket products for a reason... They know they don't have the BEST! Maybe their bikes, but after you leave the showroom with that beautiful Harley brand bike, the best thing to do is stay away from their parts depts, service dept and not give them anymore of your hard earned money... I learned the hard way!
You're pretty much spouting BS.

Thats the one I was getting from kutteronline for 319.
The other led headlights out there scare me. I know harley will replace a bad unit of I gave an issue, no matter where I am. I've had issues out on the road and pulled into a random dealership and been helped or jad problems parts replaced with little to no questions asked.
I know if I were to buy a speaker headlight or kuryakn part id have to go back where I originally bought the part or try to get a warranty replacement through the company. Niether of those option help me while im on the road...... there are harley dealers everywhere like McDonald's. Covered.... all this bad mouthing harley parts seems to ignore these facts.
I read that harley was replacing the first generation led with the second generation upon complaint. If true, that says a lot. I trust hd. I just will not over pay for parts. I'll get them online from dealerships that have better prices. And get warranty fixes from any dealer close to me when I have an issue.
