Harley LED headlight ----sucks!!
#132
To be fair I paid $320 and I ride mostly only at night as I work 7-6:30 every day but Sunday thanksgiving and Christmas. It's insane how much brighter it is and I like being able to see. You can't put a price on safety.

I see that some of you guys here have the HID lights and slim ballast.I tried this on my 2011 fatboy and I got the error light popping up and then I was told that I've got the wrong ballast so I got the right ballast supposedly designed for the CANBUS that comes with the newer Harleys but the problem remained.I really liked the HID beam though.Could some one please tell me where I can buy the correct HID light with the slim ballast for my 2013 SG?

To those of you that like running the aftermarket "HID" bulbs, you aren't running HID. HID uses a projector and you are still running a reflector, which completely trashes the light beam and causes eye strain and temporary blindness for other drivers. Congratulations, you are a dick. On the other hand, if you did it correctly and changed it over to true HID, instead of the $35 ebay specials, thank you for not blinding me everytime you ride by. Likewise with the LED guys, if your lights are aimed correctly, they work without causing problems for oncoming traffic.
