Only?! That sounds like three pretty major issues for only 16,000 miles. I would hope to expect more from a $10,000 "entry-level" American-made motorcycle.

The first time they told me something was "stuck" to the sensor inside the engine/transmission or wherever the speedo sensor is. As in, metal shavings and filings stuck to it.

The second time, idk yet. I have only had the bike out for 3 commutes to work (before the weather went sub 32 degrees again in upstate NY...) and I only noticed the speedo read 0 when I was doing around 60 one time, but that's how it started the first time and, like the first time, I expect it to occur more frequently until it stops working altogether, like last time.

What I meant was that those failures were from auxiliary parts, (speedo, battery...). I find that concerning, but not as concerning as if it was something wrong with the engine and/or transmission or frame.

I'm unhappy, but willing to forgive 2 replaced speedo sensors under warranty if my engine continues to be leak free and reliable for the next 84 thousand miles....

Although I do have some very minor weeping at the valve covers... more like just a slowly spreading stain across that gray band on the iron engine...
