Default HELP!!! Speedo question..

Hey guys...I'm doing the speedo relocation by way of the autometer clamp from summitracing.com. My question is this, I have a '06 883C and cannot use the stock speedo housing...so, what are my options? I've searched ebay and not having any luck. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Danielle

I have the same exact bike - can't tell from my pics, I know....
I also had the same issue. Your speedo will slip right in, it just lacks the nice back piece the regular XL's come with. Look in my albums.
Once your speedo is gone, you have another issue. Your top clamp is not made ( I don't think) without a speedo slot. I could be wrong, but I think you will need to replace your risers and upper clamp now....

Anyone else know?

Yes, I've taken care of that and ordered 1" risers that don't require the top clamp. I'm just lost at what to do with the back of the speedo.

Streetfighter06, what did you do to the back of your speedo? Can I just tape it up or if it gets wet will water f'it up? I'm thinking so.

Just leave it alone. That's what I did. I wrapped it in black electrical tape a little bit. I'm fine with the way it looks. If you come up with something creative, let me know - I will copy your idea

P.S. Water will not fvck it up. The plug that inserts into it has a rubber shielding for moisture. You'll be fine

I inspired you to rattle can it? AWESOME! What color?
