Hey Guys,

So im finally getting my nightster to where i want it to look and feel. Slapped on some Vance and Hines Short Shots, couple of small mods here and there, Gonna be ordering some new grips and pegs, etc. Now im looking into some major mods and need your help. I would like to replace my headlight but of course the whole mounting issue with nightsters is a bi$#%! I was thinking of doing a speedo relocation as well so i was thinking of going with the RSD Kit, would this solve both problems? Im also interested in getting the Roland Sands Vintage Handlebars but they come in two sizes 7" and 12", im def sure i want these handlebars but unsure on the size, any opinions? any body have side by side pics? Thanks for helping out.

welcome to the forums dude. rsd speedo relocation? hope you gotta big wallet. rsd **** is nice but way too pricey imo. you have many options for a headlight, you can flip yours upside down, redrill a new hole and either make a mount for the lower triple tree or buy on line, just gotta hunt around the net, they are out there but i say make your own, just my 2cents. you can also dip into a drag specialties catalog or go to Egay and find something. like hawg said, search the site dude. plenty of threads on here about headlights and speedo relocation options. good luck.

 

Does anyone make a bracket to mount the speedo in the same place but at a different angle? I have seen alot of relocation kits to mount it on the side. If not I will have to break out the hack saw and bandaids.

 

This is a speedo mod a person from a different forum i use has done, this person has decided to sell this, i liked it and have one on the way, they are no where near the price of the + $200 stuff you see elsewhere. i have learned alot from some of these people please check it out.
