Default Extending Brake Line on 09 1200

Son has a Sportster in addition to his 09 Ultra. He wants to put the bars I just removed from my LowRider on the Sportster but the brake line is a bit too short. It's a metal tube with a short length of rubber hose near the bars. What's needed to lengthen the line? Can the hose be removed and a new, longer piece put in or does he have to buy a whole new, longer setup?

Hell have to buy a longer set up, Some guys have gotten away with carefully bending the metal line tho.

Thanks freebird. Reckon he's going to need a new brakeline as the dyna bars are wider and pulled back more.
