How bad do your guy's bike drag in turns when lowering them? I already drag pretty easily. Thunder header on the right and my peg on the left... That's the only thing that's kept me from lowering my bike.
I have the burly slammers in the rears only, I think it looks better to only do the rears. I weigh 230 and my Mrs. Weights about 115, we ride all over town, big bumps and dips in the road can jar you ( the passenger) but it's not bad at all. On my own I don't really notice it. For $160 ish the burly have been great.
I have no issue with dragging but my fwd controls are higher than the mids and my pipe stops just in front of passenger peg. I drag my buddies pipe and peg with ease and he has stock mid controls and drag pipes. So it really depends on your rigs setup.
Aye, is it necessary to get the forks lowered as well to achieve a more balanced look? A mate told me that just lowering the rear shocks will cause the bike to look a tad weird.
Looking to lower my 883L to match that of a 48, any ideas how I should go about on it?
