I'd like to make it this year, but i'll have to check out the dates when I get home. Plus I would def need a cabin. The hubby has a bad back and I can barely pack what I need on our bikes without a tent! (I know, I'm such a girl!). Are there any "hotels" nearby by chance?

 

I don't remember seeing many hotels/motels in the immediate area. Your best bet would probably be Damascus, VA which isn't too far. Bristol TN/VA is about 20-25 miles from Shady Valley. Obviously, you'll have a ton of options in Bristol.
