Default Need feedback on drag bars/remounting the speedo

Whats up everyone,

The next thing I want to do is throw on some drag bars and remount the speedo. In terms of the drag bars I am either thinking about getting the biltwell trackers or just a straight bar. Is it fairly easy to install the bars and reinstall the controls and front brake on the new bars? When it comes to remounting the speedo to the side of the tank did you guys buy the various kits that are sold or did you just rig it some how?

If any of you have drag bars and or remounted your speedometer can you please post a pic.

Thanks,

- Jack

I went with the standard drag bars from Krome Works and absolutely love them. They aren't too long or too short, and look perfect. I've tried several others from flanders and they just weren't at all what I was looking for. Of course, everyone's opinions are different. See link:

Scroll down til you see the standard drag bar. I had mine powder coated black...

For the speedo remount, I went with the one by Joker Machine. I know there are lots others out there (and certainly a lot cheeper) but I couldn't be happier with this one as well. The install was a breeze and doesn't look cheesy at all compared to some of the other speedo relocations I've seen out there. It's WELL worth the money for a nice clean/finished look.

I'm at work right now, but will try to post some pics later so you can check it out to see what you think...

I have Flander's narrow drags, speedo was more of a oem mod (speedo bracket from a 48).
