I'm thinking of getting some new bars with Risers but the stock Speedo Clamp/Location won't work for this application. Anyone done a mod similar to this that might have some words of wisdom as to where to mount the Speedo?

i got a Dakota Digital, the handlebar makers are tacking it onto the bars before they chrome them, you can also get clamps to attach them to bars if they are already chromed
The digitals cost a few bucks, look good though...
Here's a photo (maybe) of mine. I put on Carlini bars and the speedo slips right in on em. Even modified the bracket to accept all five indicator lights!
