Default Some ***** keyed my Iron 883

I am mad pissed off right now. Some ***** keyed the rear fender on my iron last night while working (im a LEO here in Melbourne).

Its deep, down to the metal. What do you guys think? I workmate did the report and I will help by going over hours of cctv. Will the fender have to be resprayed? I am freaking angry as I have not put a mark on this bike after 14,000kms and some ******* does it for me on purpose

Chris

That would **** me off too, but don't lose perspective. You are OK, and your bike is fixable. Do you have comprehensive insurance? That should pay. Hope you catch the SOB. Legally. Don't endanger your job getting revenge. Hang in there.

True words Ron, thanks. And yeah I have full comprehensive insurance. I suppose much worse can happen than a small scratch

That sucks man, I know the feeling. My ex's friend keyed the front of a previous bike I had, well actually gouged it multiple times. I was a nice guy and never sought revenge as I felt karma would be better at doing justice.
If it was a straight line I'd almost say it was an accident but you can see where it stops and starts. So what's the motive here, bcuz ur a cop, bcuz it's a Harley or bcuz ur a cop riding a Harley, now that is the question hehe
Either event if you have CCTV they must have been drunk or brain dead or a combination of both.

Agreed.

Doing something like that is usually a coward's way of revenge.

Sux, but fixable indeed. Definitely a "wuss weenie" way & hope the video surveillance effort pays off. Would be nice seeing look of perp's face when you pay them a visit...priceless!!

I'm thinking you may have upset a "female friend" somewhere out there. Revenge is a terrible thing. I'm sure it will look as good as new when you fix it. Good luck.
