Threw drag bars on and flipped the mirrors.. pics
So yesterday I had off from work for a change, got these drag bars in the other day, so I decided to throw them bitches on and ride around town with them.
At first I thought the ride wasn't going to be very comfortable, but I kninda like the position I'm in while I'm riding it. I think it feels a lot better than my stock bars. We'll see when I can bring it out for a bit longer.
Anyways, long story short, here's some pics I took this morning...
Not a huge fan of the speedo where it is. I was either gonna get the HD headlamp visor and see how I liked it, or just relocate the speedo. Not sure yet.

Yeah, the mirrors are big and bulky, those are gonna get swapped out, and they clear the tank just fine (they didn't with my stock handlebars).
I got these bars:

I still don't understand why they mount that big tumor of a speedo like that on sporties. I thought they had it figured out on the "48", but they still keep mounting that tumor like that stock.
Bunch of freakin idiots....
Do they do any "real" research? If they did they would realize that about 7 out of 10 re-locate it and buy aftermarket. If the MoCo had a clue about this, they would at least make an HD relocation kit to bang people some more.
I swear they are clueless about some things.
