Default Rubber chair caps on spring seat?

Someone did a write-up where they used rubber caps that you put on chair legs but I've searched my *** off & can't find the link. Anybody remember who did it? Thanks.

No, that's not the one. I'm talking about the rubber stoppers from Lowe's or Home Depot that go on the bottom of chair legs.

I don't recall that thread. The rubber bumpers are the only thing I remember people using on their seats to eliminate the springs. What are you going to put the caps on?

It may have been on a different forum. The guy put a certain size nuts on the bolts that are mounted to the seats. Then he got some chair tips/gliders/caps/sliders or whatever they're called that were the same size as the nuts. The chair tips fit snugly over the nuts & had room left inside so the chair tips would compress when you hit a bump. Damn, I think I just did the write-up! LMAO But I don't remember the size nuts/tips he used. I guess when my seat gets here I'll take it to Lowe's & rig it up myself. Here's a list of them from Lowe's:
