Someone did a write-up where they used rubber caps that you put on chair legs but I've searched my *** off & can't find the link. Anybody remember who did it? Thanks.
I don't recall that thread. The rubber bumpers are the only thing I remember people using on their seats to eliminate the springs. What are you going to put the caps on?
It may have been on a different forum. The guy put a certain size nuts on the bolts that are mounted to the seats. Then he got some chair tips/gliders/caps/sliders or whatever they're called that were the same size as the nuts. The chair tips fit snugly over the nuts & had room left inside so the chair tips would compress when you hit a bump. Damn, I think I just did the write-up! LMAO But I don't remember the size nuts/tips he used. I guess when my seat gets here I'll take it to Lowe's & rig it up myself. Here's a list of them from Lowe's: http://www.lowes.com/SearchCatalogDi...d=10051&rpp=24
That was some good stuff. Thanks! I was unaware Lucid had a mount like that but I'm going to fab mine up like MREED did. Those rubber bumpers were different than I was talking about but I was unaware Home Depot, or the like, sold them like that. All in all that thread helped me out. Thanks again.
