K so my buddy owns his own shop an tells me the only way to put a DNA or like Springer front ends on my 04 sporty custom means we will have to chop my fram up any thoughts or experience with this issue?

 

This is true for for any inline springer on an 04 & up frame. You can modify the springer to fit or notch the frame. Everything bolts up just fine but you need to modify for turning.

Paughco, Led Sled and Zero Engineering all make springers for your bike. the Zero is the coolest looking one but they are all rather expensive.

I have modified a DNA springer to fit my 08 (same frame as yours) and will be installing it soon.
