Great, just what we need on here LOL! It use to be Nightster and Iron onwers only and now it's the super low owners having their own post now LOL! I mean come on. I have a XL50 only 2000 made and only 1000 in black and I don't have XL50 only post LOL! Ok I'm just giving you guys crap. I love the looks of the Super Low. I have sat on a few, but have not got to ride one yet. I think is one of the best looking stock sportsters ever made The wheels and tires are just killer!

Thanks....now I'm itching to start changing things again
I used the HD SE super tuner which took the place of the race tuner. The bike feels smoother than before.

I also like my Mustang seat. It sat me higher but I had the foam taken out so I could remain flat footed.

Well, you are MORE THAN welcomed here. We welcome ALL forum members to give input on the SuperLow. It is nice to come to one location to see what others with the same bike has done and get information. And, I know you are just giving us crap.

Regarding the horn, I had an indy install it. Tank had to come off. Before you go with an air horn, try the stock one on the 1200 or a Big Twin. Plenty loud enough IMO. I've used it on a few occasions and it delivered.
I plan to have my HD mechanic install the horn when he is doing the 883 to 1200 conversion. The reason I am going with the Mini Beastie air horn is several HD owners have told me they have to buy a new horn every one or two years as it wears out. The Mini Beastie has a 3-year warranty if you purchase it directly from them. Also, the horn is by far the loudest I have ever heard. My sister had one installed on her bike and it could be heard throughout the large dealership. Finally, the horn I picked out will compliment my Roland Sand Air Cleaner.

I am glad we have this tread too!

Why 1200 and not the 1250? Just curious.

What does SHE feel comfortable with? I bought the bike for the wife and she hasn't really gotten the lessons down to ride it yet. Next year we will try again with yet another class. I have decided to take it over and make it mine and give it back to her if she ever learns to ride.

I am in the process of investigating the 1250 kit. I want to ensure my warranty remains in place. I have all HD parts right now. I will be asking my wrench if a 1250 is good option of me.
