Default I screwed up.....................big time. Need help!

Last night I was backing my truck up & forgot I had my bike in front of my garage & I NAILED IT! It fell over on the right side. Mangled the rear fender, scratched the crap out of the pipes, scraped the foot brake, scraped the mirror, really bent up the front brake lever & scraped up the end of the throttle grip. Looks like it's time to chop the rear fender! Where I need help is the throttle is sticking really bad. Just the very end of the grip is messed up but the bike pretty much landed on the brake lever/grip.
1) What do you think is the binding happening?
2) Are the clutch & brake levers the same?
3) What's the best tool to use for chopping the rear fender? If it's a Dremel then what's the best tip/bit to use?
I'll see if I can post a pic of my rear fender.

Well,I fixed the throttle. It had crammed the grip & everything about 3/8" further onto the handlebar. Loosened it, slid back over & now it works good. As you can see in the pic the rear fender creased at the bracket. The bracket underneath is fine. Will it look like crap cutting it @ the bracket? Does that bracket have to stay?

Put in an insurance claim, get the money and buy the fender of your choice

the best tool for cutting the fender would be a cut off wheel in an angle grinder. but you will have to go real slow so it doesn't get hot.. you will still probably have to keep laying cold wet rags on the fender to keep the paint from burning..if you manage to cut it perfectly you will still be left with a raw edge with no paint. you need to paint the edge.. your best bet would be to watch out for a replacement fender. you could find one the rite color or have it painted

the brake/clutch levers are different

The bracket is for more support if you have a two up seat, the screw in the top of the fender is where the two up mounts.

The bolts that go through the sides will support the fender if your just going to ride solo, so you don't need the bracket.

And like I said I have two sets of pipes. Clutch and brake are different. Levers are all over eBay .

Man that really sux, if I can help out let me know.

Thanks for the help guys. Barry, looks like I WILL be getting those pipes from ya'!! Shoot me a PM, let me know how much & I'll pick them up from you. I'll look around for a fender. It doesn't matter what color it is because I was about to have the fenders painted to match my green tank anyways.

Man that sucks, I hit a small trailer I had next to the driveway one year in a thunderstorm. Dented in the front of my Chevy Cheyenne Pickup that I just had restored. REALLY SUCKED!!!

There are loads of fenders and levers out there, but it still sucks. Hope you get it fixed quickly, Spring is on the way!

Spring is here right now in Texas!!!!!!!!!!! It's 76 degrees and sunny. PERFECT riding weather. I was gonna go on a ride in the morning w/my neighbors but not now. Can't find a factory lever on ebay. About to check for a fender.
