Default Do you get your bike inspected?

My current bikes insp. is good because it's relatively new but I took it off(the plate it was on looked like *** so I removed it several months ago). On my last bike I never got it inspected. Do you? I really can't see getting pulled over because my bikes insp. sticker.

Back in mid 70s had my bike towed for no Inspection sticker during a road block check of all vehicles. Luckily they sent a van to pick it up. I was really pissed. Would of gladly taken a ticket.

We have to here in NC. No inspection, no tags, simple as that. All linked together in the DMV's system.

Haven't had inspection in 2 years. Cops here don't really care. Matter of fact, some have even waved when they pass me. LOL

Where i live here at the entrance to what they call the Northern Neck of Va. I go right past a State Police nest on my way to Church. My sticker is on the left front fork on a stainless steel plate and barely noticeable. Yes, I get it inspected The inspector's computer is linked directly to the DMV. I inspect it myself first.

It's suppose to be "Mandatory" in WV to have your bike inspected yearly. However, I've gone a couple years without getting it inspected before, and the same with a lot of other WV riders. The cops aren't going to stop me just for an invalid inspection sticker on a bike.......But a car, yes, they'll pull you over for the sticker being out of date, as they are color coded and list the month & year the sticker is valid through & placed on the windshield where a cop traveling the other way can even spot the sticker.......Been pulled over for invalid auto sticker a couple times.

Hell, when my buddy bought his new Heritage classic a couple years ago, the dealership put his sticker under on the fender under the passenger portion of his seat. Mine's on a little chrome plate mounted down on the swingarm between the passenger peg mount. In WV, a motorcycle inspection sticker is a little sticker with a hole punched on the side to show the date for re-inspection. The GF's foot completely covers it up when we're riding. See pic:

In Israel you must:

1. pay your taxes
2. find your insurance papers or buy it quick (roughly $1.327.00 for no coverage)
3. pay for the inspection document
4. go to the inspection station & pay the inspection fee
5. get the inspection which consists of blinker check
6. Get your inspection sticker & license plates
7. Go get a 6 pack

Got that, its all about the money, they don't care if you are dead tomorrow, I'll bet they try to add seat belts to our bikes retroactive then ticket you when you don't have it on.
