I'm not much of a poster here, actually not at all. I lurked the whole time building my bike, but got all my info here. I wanted to show what I put together from my stock Nightster.

 

The pic is TINY! And we need more with a summary of what mods were done.

Mods- 14" nash mini gimps internally wired, HD silencer grips/pegs/passenger pegs, Joker Machine 2" risers, Joker Machine speedo relocation, 2" tank lift, relocated ignition, tucked wires, flipped single sided mirror, no front signals, 10" licks shocks, V&H exhaust, Joker machine intake. I may have missed something small here or there.

I still want to figure something out with the headlight. Not entirely sure how to go about mounting a new one (do I need to trill into the lower triple tree?). Everything I've done so far is bolt on, kind of nervous drilling into the bike but I feel like the stock headlight is just fugly.

totally with you on the light, i just want a 48 light or something similar on my iron. As far as i can tell easiest option is to drill a single hole in the bottom cown.....which i dont like the idea of either but yeah, thats it. Also any one know if this can be done without removing the front end?

 

Looks good man! Agree with ya on the light. Still figuring out what I'm gonna do with mine.

 

You could drill the lower tree from the bottom if you removed the wheel and fender.

 

Thanks man. I used your tank lift and ignition/coil relocation. Quality stuff! I am thinking about moving up to a Softail after I finish grad school so I am a bit worried about making any mods that I am not able to convert back to stock. If I do it I'm going to drill the lower tree and put an aftermarket light on a mount.
