whats up everyone, wanted to know if its possible to take off that visor thats right on top of my headlight? Its a 2011 Iron. Would like to see how it looks without that visor, I think it'll look better. Thanks

 

Your head light mounts to that visor, it really sucks I know. There are a few alternatives to mounting it, just Google Sportster Headlight Relocate and you will see a few options.

you know what im thinking of doing, adding the headlight visor trim ring, it gives the headlight a bit of an "extended"look. Harley only sells it in chrome, but i found some guy on ebay that sells them powdercoated

I did that on my sporty. I took the whole thing off and got ahold of a bates type light, I think for a springer. I drilled the crossbar of my fork brace and made a little bracket that held my new light.

It makes the bike about a million times better looking, in my opinion.

 

i bought a 48 headlight and drilled my lower tree. looks better.

 

I recently mounted a new (repop) Unity headlight using some cheap-o turn signal relocaters and shaved the visor mounts.

It'll blend in much better after I powdercoat everything but,

 

You have several options, like relocate the stock headlight to bottom mount, buy a cheap aftermarket 48 style headlight (about 50$ - 100$), Joker Machine headlight bracket or RSD Speedo-Headlight relocator...
