If you do wreck the ham can, mine is going to be available soon since I have removed it in favor of the NRHS Hurricane air cleaner. Let me know by Fri if you need it ASAP since I will be out of town for 2 weeks.

The Dremel is VERY handy to have for MANY tasks. That easy out drill bit set from Sears is also good. The outlaw air cleaner would be a good idea as well. As always, unless you have an unlimited budget, it's all about choices and priorities.

if you are taking about the 2 philip head screws on the cover...the first thing I would do is ....tape the cover up with masking tape, set up some blocks etc next to the bike so that you can put a big phillips head screwdriver in the screw head and it will stay with out holding it, once you have that set up I would get some jb-weld putty type epoxy fill in the screw head , jamb the screwdriver in the jbweld as best you cans (wipe off all the extra) , let it sit there for a day and then when it good and set then try and back out the screw...if you coat the screwdriver in a thin layer of elmers glue and let it dry first the jbweld wont stick to it (hopefully) ... if that doesn't work then go at it with the dremel and slot the screw so you can get at it witha flat screwdriver....

Thanks for all of the help guys. I went to the stealership to order the two screws. They'll be here in a week and they were only $6.34. Talk about a great deal Anyway, I wouldn't say that I have an unlimited budget but I'll definitely be able to do one of the things. I'll probably go the dremel route only because I really could use a solid rotary tool in my collection.
