2012 Forty Eight bobber, start to finish
I am new here but i figured id post up a step by step of my build. I love the finished product and i hope everyone else does too!
Lets start with a showroom pic
Right off the delivery truck to my garage
Just your normal DIY mods, removed reflectors, fender and belt guards
Next was a 3" tank lift coil relocation and ignition relocation along with the wire tuck
I decided on the vance and hines short shots paired with the arlen ness big sucker. I also threw on some 10" solid struts but still not 100% sure i wanted to keep them on there
After looking at what most people were doing with their fenders and frames i decided to chop about 4" off the frame and get creative with the fender and signals because i wanted to keep the factory running lights and signals, i also added smoked lenses. Black rocker boxes along with the matching derby and chain inspection covers.
Next on the list was 14" burly apes. Not a bad install over all but very frustrating! Also fitted white walls with a wider 170 rear.
Last but not least was the spring seat and slim solid black seat to keep my back a little happier with the solid struts.
This pretty much will finish her up only a few small things id like to add which will be a pc5 and a custom tune, and probably a bag fitted with a extra fuel tank only because the 2.1gal tank wont be getting me very far.
Hope everyone enjoys this, i cant wait to get some feedback!
