I might be willing to trade them out with someone if they had similar value pipes.
Yeah other than selling them or riding solo you're kind of stuck. I dont know how much of a market there is for a used set of 1,000 dollar set of slip-ons....

The dealer put those on for you??

just tell her to swing that one up in your lap. i know on xlf there is a thread that shows you how to install them if you're running a licks solo bag which requires you to extend them. do a search on the forum over there. the same hardware just may work for what you need to do. i'm sure any indy cycle shop could fab you something for that side.

I'll run the idea past her about chopping of her leg lol. Yes the dealer put them on. They used the bike for a V-Twin expo they have here in cincy. They put on the akrapovic pipes, SE air cleaner, and a SE super tuner.

Did they give you a discount on that stuff? If you didnt pay full retail for the slip-ons because you didnt request them you can probably recoup some money and get a set that works AND pay for the pegs.

Those are some spendy slip-ons...

That chainsickle relocation set may or may not work, you would have to get them to send you the measurements.

Other than that you can probably sell those slip-ons for 700ish (i'm guessing - theyre over 1K new) and get enough for new better performing slip ons and passenger pegs, probably will have some money left over. They are still in good shape w/ low miles right?

The good thing is you didnt overpay for them since you got a decent deal on that bundle - actually a GREAT deal if that was from a dealer. You can get a set of Rush slip-ons for like 325 max, cycle shacks even cheaper. Both of those will outperform the akrapovic. Akrapovic makes great pipes for a lot of the Jap bikes but they still have some R&D to do with Harleys.
