Glad I found this site. Sure seems like lots of great information and nice prople.
After years of wating just got my 1st Harley. A Sportster 1200 custom. I'm 66 years old and think I still have some good riding years in me.
Now I'm trying to figure which sadlebags and windshield to go for.

South Africa! My favorite trip ever. Stayed at the cellars in cape town, the palace in sun city, a safari for a week at mala mala, toured a diamond mine in Pretoria, and the BMW plant.

Where are you?

Welcome to the best sportster sight. At least I think so. I'm only 53, and love my Iron.

OK, I'll play along. Welcome from NY!

What year is your Custom?

And how much do you want to spend? Cheap saddlebags are $60. Expensive is more than 10x that. Nylon? Leather? Hard bags? Ack! Take your time and look around.

Old guys rule!
