Thumbs up Just put on the V&H short shots!

Last night a buddy helped me get my new Black V&H short shots installed.
We also installed a VO2 air intake, and a power commander.

Well... to be honest I don't have the heat shield on yet as it took us longer than we thought to do it all and we had to quit as soon as we got it all together and running.

But heat shields or no - MAN was that a fun ride home!!
My buddy kept telling me "Wait till you hear this thing man, sporty's sound awesome with a few upgrades. You won't believe it."
He was right I could not believe how my sporty sounded.
Seriously... It sounded meaner than his wide glide! Several times on the way home I caught myself looking behind me to see the motorcycle that I heard back there.

The bike was super responsive too, but I've not ridden enough since the upgrade to report too much on any performance gains.
But wow.. that sound.

So far very happy with the V&H short shots!

Congrats! I am going to get the same pipes when I get my Sporty. How much louder is it than stock?

I'm not sure to classify how much louder it is... but three of the first four words out of my mouth when I heard it you can't say on network TV.

LMAO! Nice. Im just worried about waking up the neighborhood if I come home at 2am. I dont want to have to shut it down and walk the bike a block to keep quiet, lol. I do really love the look of the black short shots.

I got home about 1:30am ... and I was a little worried.
So far no angry phone calls though.

They are definitely loud. I would say if you come home that late at night on the bike, try and coast as much as possible. They're not obnoxious, though.

Agreed. Had the clutch in as much as possible.

Got the heat shields put on today - so it's all set!

They are nice pipes. I just didn't want to look like everyone else. There very popular on sporties.
