Default Converting to fat front tire

Is this what I need for an 07 XL1200C? Do I need anything else besides the wheel and tire?

http://vulcanworks.net/store_4/produ...&cat=11&page=1

Thx

I did it recently! Yes you need all that, plus a new fender or you modify the stock fender to fit the new wheel (that's what I did)...or you get rid of the front fender...

Here you are... I re-laced the front wheel, got a 18"x3.00 rim and a Venom 120x90x18 tire...

Thx! Your bike looks very good. Looks like I can order the fender with the kit if I like. Might end up doing that make it easier. Wondering if I can do the 130 front like the 48.

A 48 front tire also fits with the mid glide kit.

With the wide glide kit you've linked above you can put a 150 tire on the front. That's what I did. Bought a 16x3" wheel on ebay. You may also need new wheel bearings because they don't come with the kit.

Search the forum for vulcan wide glide kit. Several of us have used it. If you're lucky you will have all the right parts to do what you need. They sent me the wrong axel, twice and I ended up machining it to the right dimensions myself. They guy that owns the place isn't the easiest to deal with. Good luck.

Default fender

I used a fender I found on eBay from a late model "Superlow" & 4 spacers (3/4") . I followed "Rickss69" lead & advise.
Trying to reuse that fender from a skinny tire won't work . Go with the wide glide kit , more wheel & fender options.

In the process of putting everything back to the original build on this bike atm. It used the Vulcan WG kit and I put 150/80 tires fore and aft. Additions this time will be different handlebars and forward controls...this one up for sale shortly.

Here it is the first go around...
