I have a 2000 XLH. I bought some saddle bags, and I can't seem to get them to fit. They will not fit between the shocksand the turn signal. The leather between the bags seems to be to short to let the bags hang right. Has anybody had this problem. Do I need to sell these bags and buy others? Please help! Thanks
I tried looking those bags up and couldn't find an exact match to the name you gave, but what I could find gave no info about what it could fit, or what fender width they were made for, or anything.
This is an issue I'm having while shopping for bags. There is no way, that I've found, to tell what bags will fit what. You can probably send the bags back if they don't fit and you bought them from a decent business. Give them a call and find out. If they appear to be too short between the bags to fit over the fender properly, then I don't know of anything you could do to help that.
Am I seeing correctly that in this pic of a different set of bags, that there is an adjustable area in the middle, so they can fit a range of fender widths? That still doesn't explain how you can tell what will fit on which bikes, w/o moving turn signals, etc.
